Support a GREAT Cause!

As many of you know I am a BIG fan of Isaiah House Recovery Center that is located in Willisburg, KY. They are a Christian based drug recovery center for men and they are doing God's work. I have a family member there right now and I can tell you that they are changing lives and showing these men the love that is only found in Jesus Christ. They recently had a graduation for several of the men who went through Celebrate Recovery. This was a wonderful experience as they had lunch for all of the families, had 2 of the men share their testimonies, awarded certificates, and presented each of the graduates with Study Bibles. They will have another graduating class here in the next few weeks and they are in need of sponsors for the bibles. The Isaiah House is not federally funded and they rely solely on individuals and churches to help them operate. If they were ever to accept federal money then they would be forced to allow church and God to be "optional." I can tell you that God is not "optional" when you are dealing with recovery and drug addiction. God is the ONLY option for these men who struggle to recover from an addiction that rules their lives. My mom (Pam Kendall) and I have put together a fund raiser to help the Isaiah House purchase Study Bibles for all of the upcoming Celebrate Recovery graduates.
